Action/Thriller: An assassin endangers her life and that of a young teen when she takes in the boy due to guilt stemming from having killed his father a year ago.
Mary (TARAJI P. HENSON) is an assassin who works for a criminal family headed by Benny (DANNY GLOVER). While she once dated that man's son, Tom (BILLY BROWN) their relationship is purely platonic and certainly all business, and they're both efficient killers. But the one hit that's bothered her ever since occurred a year ago when she killed a man, unaware that his oblivious son, Danny (JAHI DI'ALLO WINSTON), was in the next room, himself unaware of what happened or who was responsible.

The young teen ended up living on the streets and working for a criminal by the name of Uncle (XANDER BERKELEY). When Mary finds the boy in a crumpled heap after a beating by that man, she kills the criminal. That puts her and other crime families in crisis mode, with each, such as another run by Luka (RADE SERBEDZIJA), wondering who was responsible. Mary doesn't let on, but by taking in Danny and protecting him, she runs the risk of Benny and Tom discovering what she's done.

From that point on, she tries to get out of that family crime business and line of work in general, something that doesn't sit well with the father-son criminal duo, all of which puts her and Danny's lives in jeopardy.
