QUICK TAKE:: Comedy: A young man must contend with feeling he's not worthy of or in the same league as the attractive young woman he's now dating.

PLOT:

Kirk Kettner (JAY BARUCHEL) is a young TSA employee who lives in Pittsburg, doesn't have a lot of self-esteem, and is still fixated on his ex-girlfriend, Marnie (LINDSAY SLOANE), despite them breaking up several years ago. Of course, it doesn't help that she still hangs out with his parents, Barb (DEBRA JO RUPP) and Walt (ADAM LeFEVRE), older brother Dylan (KYLE BORNHEIMER) and his condescending, pregnant girlfriend, Debbie (JESSICA ST. CLAIR), always with her boyfriend, Ron (HAYES MacARTHUR), in tow.

Kirk still wants to get back together with Marnie, something that doesn't sit well with his friends and coworkers, Stainer (T.J. MILLER), Jack (MIKE VOGEL) and Devon (NATE TORRENCE), who think he should move on. He gets that chance when event planner Molly (ALICE EVE) accidentally leaves her phone at the airport security checkpoint, and he and Devon return it to her at a reception she's set up with her business partner, Patty (KRYSTEN RITTER).

Molly is the kind of beautiful young woman who turns heads and thus would seem to be completely out of Kirk's league. Yet, she takes a liking to him, probably because he's just about the polar opposite of her last boyfriend, Cam (GEOFF STULTS), a handsome and egotistical pilot. Kirk can't believe it, which also holds true for his stunned friends, but he and Molly soon become a romantic couple. From that point on, Kirk must not only deal with that disbelief, but also the nagging notion that he's not good enough for her.

WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT?: It's a good bet many teens will be interested in it.

OUR WORD TO PARENTS:

The following is a brief summary of the content found in this R-rated comedy. Profanity consists of at least 56 "f" words, while other expletives and colorful phrases are also uttered. Sexually related dialogue (some of it explicit) and comedy scenes (including about shaving one's pubic area) are present, as is the sight of a young couple stripping down to their underwear with the intention of having sex, but that doesn't occur. They also fool around, clothed, resulting in him climaxing in his pants.

Some comedy based violence is present in several scenes, while some standard hockey violence occurs during a game. All sorts of potentially imitative behavior occurs. Bad attitudes are present, as is tense family material, both of which are comedy-based. Drinking occurs in several scenes, while some crude humor is present.

Kirk makes a metaphor about the guy who shovels elephant "sh*t" not really being in show business.

When a plane passenger across the aisle tells Molly she can't be on the phone before they take off as it's bad for the plane, Patty chimes in, "Oh, I'm sorry, are you a plane doctor? No? So shut the f*ck up."
Stainer refers to Marnie as a "skank" and gives her "the finger" with both hands.

Jack states that Kirk's problem is that girl's view him as a "moodle" (a "man-poodle"), and that they want to take him out for a walk, etc. but don't want to "do the moodle," with Stainer adding, "No one would ever f*ck a moodle." They then tell him he should inform Marnie that he's been on a "sn*tch parade." The scene then cuts to Kirk talking to her, with her repeating that last phrase in doubt. He then says it's true and that he's been "double bagging" it (using two condoms at a time) to prevent seepage, etc.

They're all shocked at how attractive Molly is when she shows up, and are shocked she's with Kirk, prompting Dylan to ask if she's a hooker or prostitute. The guys then invite Molly in for a swim, saying doing so in her underwear would be fine. She agrees that would be fine if she were wearing any. We then see a close-up view of Dylan getting out of the water in just his wet briefs. Later, at lunch, Dylan asks about her not wearing any underwear, with Marnie then coming in, all sexed up in a tight, cleavage-revealing dress, and she suggestively tells Ron she isn't wearing any underwear.
Marnie informs Molly that she (Marnie) and Kirk used to be lovers.
Dylan states that Debbie is "One wicked hot box," but that Molly makes her look like a pig (said in front of Debbie, prompting her to cuss at him).
Dylan and Kirk take turns shooting hockey pucks at each other in their parents' basement (up against a wall, and in pads), with one of Kirk's shots hitting Dylan right in the crotch, prompting pregnant Debbie to worriedly state that she wants another baby.
Molly and Kirk start to kiss at her place, with her stating that once she trusts someone she can experiment and be pretty generous (meant sexually), prompting Kirk to nervously repeat the same about himself. She then straddles him on the sofa (both clothed) and starts to grind away while nuzzling on his neck. As we hear building sounds on the soundtrack representing his pending release, he then climaxes in his pants just as the doorbell rings. She hops up to let her parents and sister in, but Kirk is embarrassed and can't stand up due to the presumed erection in his pants and the large wet spot on the front of them. Molly's dog then comes over and starts licking that wet spot.
Having heard about the above from Devon, Stainer and Jack playfully joke about that, with Stainer saying he was excited and thus "came early" to work, while one questions whether Kirk just "came" in his pants again.
Hearing Devon state that if someone loves you, you are a 10, Jack sarcastically replies, "My God, how's your vagina?" The guys then all talk about mismatched pairings, with Jack telling another that once he becomes a platinum-selling recording artist "You can push your meat into any person you want."
Cam has the phrase "Foot Long" just below the cockpit canopy on his plane.
Jack tells Kirk he must tell Molly that he (Kirk) "jizzed" in his shorts with her. Kirk then gets up the courage and tells Molly what happened (above, she wasn't aware it went that far), but uses the term "ejaculated" instead, adding that it's not every day he has a hot girl grinding on him. He then comments on having had a "giant freaking oyster" in his shorts.
Seeing Cam take off in his jet, Stainer admits, "Honestly, I'd have sex with that guy."

Kirk's friends comment on him being unable to "seal the deal" (sexually) with Molly after ten dates. He states he's terrified of the thought of being in front of her naked while she's naked. Jack then asks Kirk if he's done his prep work (meaning shave his pubic hair) and then drops his pants to show the guys that he's done the same (we don't see anything other than their horrified reaction), that it's clean, and that it's a look that says, "You can put your mouth here." Devon then says "He just moved" (referring to Jack's unseen penis).
We next see Kirk trying to shave his pubic hair with shaving cream and a regular razor (we don't see his crotch, but do see his bare butt several times), but he's having a hard time, with talk of shaving his "balls." Devon, who's outside the closed door, tells him to shave it like his face, but Kirk complains he doesn't have "two f*cking testicles" sticking out of his face. We then see Devon assisting him with an electric trimmer (again, we don't see Kirk's crotch, but do see his bare butt as well as pubic hair falling away as Devon is right there).
