If you're wondering why we don't have a review for a particular release, here's the reason. Movies: Although we're in the 4th largest media market (Baltimore/Washington, DC), some films either don't open here (only playing in NYC or LA) or do so weeks or months later than in those markets. In addition, we must focus on the wider releases and can only get to smaller, limited releases when time and personnel permit. Videos: Tens of thousands of films were released before this service was started in 1996. Since our reviews are more detailed than any available anywhere, each takes around 10 hours to complete. And as there are only 24 hours in a day, we simply can't provide reviews for every release. That said, one of the benefits of being a subscriber is the ability to request reviews for certain previously released movies that are now on DVD/Video. We'll tally up the requests, and then review the top choices submitted by all of our subscribers. Those reviews will only be available to subscribers on our New Reviews of Older Titles page and will not be accessible to non-subscribers. Use the address below to submit your request.
