Screen It! provides unbiased content reviews of movies, videos and music. It is NOT our intention to censor a particular title or any of its material. Our reviews allow parents and others to decide, based on THEIR own values and beliefs, whether a particular title is appropriate for them and/or their children.
A few visitors have mistakenly accused us of being "ultra right wing," or "too conservative" in what we do. If you don't agree with what we do, that's your opinion, but please don't label us as something we aren't. Our personal opinions of the possibly objectionable content are left out -- we simply report what's there.
We like to compare our services to the nutrition labels found on all food products. If you buy a half gallon of ice cream, the label tells you what's inside, but doesn't judge whether it's good or bad for you. They leave that decision up to you. We do the same. While we do add an artistic review ("Our Take") that expresses the reviewer's personal opinion of the title, this is done without taking any of the content material into consideration. Granted, you may not agree with our artistic review, but everyone has their own opinion as to whether they like a particular movie, video, or music release. If you don't agree with our review, please don't send hate mail. It doesn't serve any purpose.
In summary, our service has simply responded to what many parents and others have wanted for years: Content reviews of entertainment titles that they and/or their children want to see or hear. If you don't agree with what we're doing, that's your right. But please remember that thousands of people use our reviews every week and strongly support what we're doing.
If you'd still like to send us your thoughts or questions, please return to our mail page.
