QUICK TAKE:
Romantic Comedy: A lawyer discovers that she's attracted to her best friend's fiancé -- with whom she attended law school -- and vice-versa.
PLOT:
30-year-old lawyer Rachel (GINNIFER GOODWIN) and her best gal-pal Darcy (KATE HUDSON) have been best friends forever, even if the latter always dominates the former. That's especially true now that Darcy is about to marry Dex (COLIN EGGLESFIELD), another lawyer who went to law school with Rachel, which is how he and Darcy met.

Rachel isn't dating anyone, and thus Darcy thinks she should bed Dex's wild friend Marcus (STEVE HOWEY). That amuses Rachel's platonic writer friend Ethan (JOHN KRASINSKI) who now regrets what he thought was a one-night stand with Claire (ASHLEY WILIAMS), especially since she's now enthusiastically latched onto him.

On the night of Rachel's birthday, she and Dex end up the last ones at the party. After learning that they secretly had feelings for each other back in law school, the two end up making out and then sleeping together. The next day, they feel awful and try to hide the truth from Darcy, a point complicated by all of them, along with Marcus, Claire and Ethan, vacationing together at the Hamptons.

From that point on, and while still trying to keep their fling secret from everyone else as the wedding quickly approaches, Rachel and Dex must decide how they really feel about each other and whether their attraction is worth ruining a marriage and long-standing friendship.

WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT?
