QUICK TAKE:
Comedy: A recent high-school graduate on vacation in Paris with her stepsister and best friend assumes the identity of a snobby British heiress who is her exact look-alike.
PLOT:
Grace (SELENA GOMEZ) is about to graduate high school, and she's saved for the past four years to go to Paris with her waitress friend, Emma (KATIE CASSIDY). She is a child of divorce, and her mom Pam (ANDIE MacDOWELL) has recently remarried widower Robert (BRETT CULLEN). Robert's young twenty-something daughter, Meg (LEIGHTON MEESTER), is still reeling from the death of her mother and has closed herself off from the joys of life. Seeking to bring the two girls together and snap Meg out of her funk, Robert decides to pay Meg's way onto Grace's dream trip and upgrade the girls to First Class as a "thank you."

Once in Paris, Grace is mistaken for a snobby British heiress, Cordelia (also played by SELENA GOMEZ), who Emma and Meg overhear has decided to "play hooky" from her family and charitable obligations for a week. They convince Grace to take her place, and the three live the high life for a while in France and then Monte Carlo.

Meanwhile, Meg meets a nice, hunky Australian named Riley (LUKE BRACEY) who is also traveling through Europe, and Emma considers cheating on Owen (CORY MONTEITH), her boyfriend back home, with Prince Domenico (GIULIO BERRUTI). Grace finds herself attracted to Theo (PIERRE BOULANGER), a young Frenchman bored with the wealthy socialites he usually meets. Her ruse is threatened when Cordelia's Aunt Alicia (CATHERINE TATE) and then Cordelia herself show up just prior to a climactic charitable event.

WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT?
Yes, especially "tween" and teen girls who are fans of Selena Gomez from her show, "Wizards of Waverly Place."
WHY THE MPAA RATED IT: PG
For brief mild language.
