The following is a brief summary of the content found in this comedy that has been rated R. Profanity consists of at least 48 "f" words, while other expletives and colorful phrases are also uttered. There is a vast amount of sexually related dialogue present, including one joke having to do with date rape and a running joke of the main character wanting to cut off the villain's penis and force-feed it to him. Nudity consists of the lead character (and one other male) showing his bare buttocks repeatedly throughout. There are two sex scenes that involve a lot of simulated grinding complete with wacky sex sounds.
Violence consists of people being shot repeatedly and blown up. There is also a running gag involving MacGruber ripping out bad guys' throats. Others are punched, kicked, manhandled, or threatened with weapons. Some of this has fairly bloody results. But given that this is a parody of '80s action movies like "Rambo," "Lethal Weapon, "Road House," and "Die Hard" and is generally played for laughs, those scenes and moments of peril will likely not be unsettling and/or suspenseful for most viewers.
Bad attitudes are present throughout, as is much potentially imitative behavior and various thematic elements. Drinking is present, as is a bit of smoking.

For those prone to visually induced motion sickness, there is some fairly rapid-fire editing a la the Michael Bay movies. There are numerous aerial shots of different locales that go from slow-motion to very fast as to mimic some of the films this one is parodying.
