PLOT: In this follow-up to the 2006 sequel to the original 2002 movie based on the MTV stunt show, Johnny Knoxville, and his band of daredevil performers including Steve-O, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Preston Lacy, Chris Pontius and others perform a variety of extreme stunts and other gags. WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT? If they're fans of either of the first two films, the original MTV show or simply want new ideas of outrageous and/or dangerous stunts they can imitate, they probably will. WHY THE MPAA RATED IT: R For male nudity, extremely crude and dangerous stunts throughout, and for language. CAST AS ROLE MODELS: Considering what occurs in the film (performing dangerous, dumb and/or gross stunts, profanity, public nudity and more), it's highly unlikely any parents would consider anyone who appears in the film to be a good role model for kids. CAST, CREW, & TECHNICAL INFO HOW OTHERS RATED THIS MOVIE Curious if this title is entertaining, any good, and/or has any artistic merit? Then read OUR TAKE of this film. OUR WORD TO PARENTS: The following is a quick look at the content found in this R-rated comedy. Profanity consists of at least 66 "f" words, while plenty of other expletives and colorful phrases are also uttered. Sexually related dialogue is present, as is some sexually related humor. Various men are seen fully nude (frontal and rear) or barely clothed, there's brief, staged making out and groping, and some sex toys are briefly seen (but not used in a sexual context). Various people are hurt (and sometimes bloodied) while trying to pull off various stunts. Others simply hit other people for laughs (often in the crotch), and many of those scenes are replayed in slow motion to show the violent impact (all played for outrageous laughs). Many instances of crude humor are also present (including that involving urination, defecation and many views of graphic vomiting, etc.). The various stunts, gags and other material that might be quite enticing for some kids to imitate (despite warnings at the beginning and end of the film not to do so). Some of those stunts might be unsettling or suspenseful to some viewers (based on phobias or just common sense), while various people have bad attitudes for their actions and/or the pranks they pull. An unlit pipe is held in a skit, while some brief drinking is present and a man appears to be hung-over from unseen drinking. For those prone to visually induced motion sickness, some shaky handheld camerawork and point of view footage is present, and when viewed in 3D, the effect could be enhanced. ALCOHOL OR DRUG USE One guy jokes about college life and body shots. People drink in a bar where Wee Man orders two beers for himself and the lady with him. Before a stunt, Johnny states he "had a couple last night" (presumably meaning he's hung-over). BLOOD/GORE All of the following is played for laughs: At least one of two dead fish comes apart (with gross results) when they're slammed against Wee Man. Bam stands a distance from the high velocity air flow of a jet engine and urinates to the side (we see his penis and the urine stream), resulting in someone joking that he's "Pissing in the wind." We see a diorama from which human excrement then erupts (and we then see the nude man -- bare butt -- beneath that). We then see the eruption in close-up and in slow motion. A cameraman is seen vomiting. Bam has superglue liberally poured onto his hands that he then places onto the bare (and hairy) chests of his dad and Preston. After waiting for it to dry, he then yanks his hands away (causing them pain), resulting in their chest hair being stuck to his palms. Dressed like an old man, Johnny pretends he's messed his diaper and thus pulls that out in public, with partial views of his bare butt. We see this again, and during one of them, some blue liquid explodes back onto a wall while he's bent over. A scorpion pinches a man's face with its claw and then stabs its stinger into his face, leaving small bloody marks. In a gag called "sweat suit cocktail," the guys have Preston (seemingly nude but wrapped from the neck down in plastic) on a treadmill. This is so they can collect his sweat (both by wringing it out of the plastic and funneling it from near his bare butt). Steve-O even puts his hand down inside the plastic at Preston's butt to collect more sweat that he similarly wrings into a cup. He then nearly retches before drinking that down, and then does vomit, causing the cameraman to do the same (some ends up on his camera and then drips off that). Steve-O then vomits a great deal more. The guys watch a man who can fart on command as he holds various things at his bottom for the effect. That includes repeatedly inflating a New Year's Eve type party favor, blowing into a trumpet, and shooting a dart through a tube positioned at his butt, with the dart popping a balloon held in the bare butt cheeks of another man (who then turns, with his hand covering his crotch). As part of a gag, Johnny runs and jumps onto a miniature telephone pole or the like, with a large dog jumping and biting into clothed butt, hanging off the ground from that point. We later see Johnny's bare butt cheeks and the slightly bloody bite marks there. The guys have Preston down on all fours, nude, in a pig pen. They then place an apple partly into his bottom, and when it doesn't fit in far enough, Steve-O removes it, takes a bite, and places it back. He then nearly retches from that (with one jokingly asking if he doesn't like "peanut butter" and apple). A large pig is then introduced to the scene and it tries to eat the apple, but it falls out. One guy jams it back in and the pig goes back, but this time bites Preston on the butt and he runs off. The guys tie a string around a man's tooth as he's seated outside and then the other end to the back of a Lamborghini. That car then speeds away and it yanks out the guy's tooth (seen again in slow motion), with bloody results. We see point of view footage from a "penis cam" as one of the guys goes around and urinates on various people as a surprise. We see the side of his penis and the urine stream, and then see a full view of him (along with smaller views of both). A person comments that something is going to be a "blood orgy" but that's just a metaphor. After a guy dressed in a gorilla suit has terrorized Bam's parents in a hotel room, Bam's dad states, "I sh*t myself" and we see him sitting on a toilet while we hear diarrhea sounds (and he says it's gotten juicy). One guy then jokes that the dad is "in there sh*tting" and that they "scared the sh*t out of him." The above fart on command guy blows a soap bubble from his butt and another guy tries to catch that in his mouth. The guys do a stunt named the "poo coaster" where Johnny is strapped into a porta-potty (filled with excrement seen in the container below him) that's then fired high into the air in a reverse bungee fashion. We then see the interior view as that excrement and liquid flies up and then all over the inside of the unit, including covering him. As the potty goes up and down on the bungee cords, we see that excrement flying all around, while an exterior view shows it leaking out, including directly down onto the camera lens. During this, the cameraman retches, and once it's back down on the ground, Steve-O vomits as do others (reacting to the site of excrement everywhere and reacting to the smell). Some of the above is seen in slow motion. During the end credits, we see a pile of excrement. DISRESPECTFUL/BAD ATTITUDE All of the following is played for laughs: Throughout the film, various guys suddenly strike others for laughs, or otherwise cause them potential injury in the name of humor. Dressed like an old man, Johnny drives a scooter out of the showroom through a plate glass window and then crashes into a parked scooter. He then gives "the finger" and yells "Up yours" while driving off. Dressed as an old man, Johnny wants an African-American man to take his picture and says, "Excuse me, home-boy" as he makes out with a young woman pretending to be his granddaughter. Knowing Bam is scared of snakes, the guys have him enter a trailer with a fake floor. He then falls through that into a pit filled with rubber snakes. Real snakes (including large ones) are then thrown and poured in there with him, causing him to freak out (he is not bitten). FRIGHTENING SCENES Scenes listed under "Violence" and/or "Blood/Gore" may be unsettling to viewers with low tolerance levels for such material. But it's all played for goofy comedy. For those afraid of bees: Two guys (in just their underwear) play tetherball with many agitated bees inside the ball. As they hit it back and forth, they and the "referee" are stung repeatedly. A man's face is situated upside down and mostly obscured (save for his mouth and surrounding area) to make that look like a cartoon type character holding miniature swords. Others then place scorpions there (as the "monsters" the figure must battle), but the man doesn't realize that until one scorpion pinches him with its claw and then stabs its stinger into his face. For those afraid of snakes: Knowing Bam is scared of snakes, the guys have him enter a trailer with a fake floor. He then falls through that into a pit filled with rubber snakes. Real snakes (including large ones) are then thrown and poured in there with him, causing him to freak out (he is not bitten). They then scare him again outside that trailer. GUNS/WEAPONS In the opening sequence, a guy carries a sword, a cannonball is fired into Preston's belly, and paintballs are fired into one person. A man's face is situated upside down and mostly obscured (save for his mouth and surrounding area) to make that look like a cartoon type character holding miniature swords. The guys do a stunt where two jump from a platform down onto a huge inflatable object that then sends a man situated on that to fly way up into the air. Johnny and others then fire pellet guns (or the like) at that man in midair. We then see a new version of the same stunt. A guy makes a shooting gesture with his hand. IMITATIVE BEHAVIOR Due to audience noise (in our theatrical viewing) as well as several instances of rapid-fire delivery, the following counts should be considered a bare minimum. In the opening sequence, Johnny and the other guys are hit with various things (such as big bags, clubs and balls), while two dead fish are smashed into Wee Man, a cannonball is fired into Preston, another person is catapulted up and into a ceiling fan and then lands hard on a table, another is kicked in the face and paintballs are fired at another. Most of that is shown in slow motion to display the violent impact. Various people are hit (and surprised by) a giant, spring-loaded hand that flips out and around a corner and knocks them down. Some of that footage is replayed in slow motion. Johnny jet skis from a rectangular manor "pond" and up a ramp, blasting through a lattice hedge and then crashing hard (replayed in slow motion). We see Steve-O standing in just his underwear (and shoes and socks) on the other side of a t-ball stand, knowing what's coming. Another guy then hits the real baseball that whips around and hits Steve-O in the crotch (replayed in slow motion). The guys use elastic bands to propel themselves on or in various things (a boogie board, a wheelbarrow, etc.) toward a ramp leading to an above ground swimming pool. Many of them crash or land hard (on the ramp, the pool's edge, the ground, etc.). At various points in the film, one guy comes up behind another and throws a glass of water into his face. As that second man then turns his head, the first punches him on the other side of the face with a boxing glove (seen in slow motion). A woman does the same later in the film. Two guys (in just their underwear) play tetherball with many agitated bees inside the ball. As they hit it back and forth, they and the "referee" are stung repeatedly. Various guys wear various goofy headgear (bunny ears, bear hats, etc.) in several sequences. One guy sits a bit of a distance from the output of a jet engine. After being buffeted by the air flow, it eventually knocks him over. Various people then throw various items (footballs, what looks like potatoes, shoes, etc.) up in front of the air blasting out of the engine, sending those things zipping off into the distance, with some of them hitting some of the people standing in direct line with the jet. Others are simply blown down by the wind. Bam stands a distance from the high velocity air flow of a jet engine and urinates to the side (we see his penis and the urine stream), resulting in someone joking that he's "Pissing in the wind." The guys pull a prank on a bystander by having one guy ask the man to watch his dog while he goes into a store. Moments later, a smaller guy (dressed identically to the first) comes out and thanks the man for watching the dog and walks off with the pooch. Johnny does some clothed pelvic thrusting (up into the air while on his hands and feet) to the beat of a song while dancing around in a buffalo pen on roller skates. We see a diorama from which human excrement then erupts (and we then see the nude man -- bare butt -- beneath that). We then see the eruption in close-up and in slow motion. A man gives Wee Man and the woman with him the middle finger. Some sort of explosive or die-pack blows up in a porta-potty, covering a person in blue liquid (but otherwise doesn't harm them). Various guys try to make their way through a narrow hallway filled with tires on the floor, wood cross beams in the way, and tasers (or the like, noted as being 950,000 volts each) hanging from the ceiling, while some electric cattle prods rotate around. The guys end up being repeatedly shocked as they crash their way through the wood beams to get to the other side. Preston, in just his underwear, stands in front of a field goal kicker and has a football kicked hard into his face (played back in slow motion). Bam has superglue liberally poured onto his hands that he then places onto the bare (and hairy) chests of his dad and Preston. After waiting for it to dry, he then yanks his hands away (causing them pain), resulting in their chest hair being stuck to his palms. Dressed as an old man, Johnny grabs his own clothed crotch. He then does some clothed pelvic thrusting to the clothed butt of another person dressed as an old woman (whose fake breasts are later seen moving/jiggling around). Johnny does a wheelie in a scooter. Dressed like an old man, Johnny pretends he's messed his diaper and thus pulls that out in public, with partial views of his bare butt. We see this again, and during one of them, some blue liquid explodes back onto a wall while he's bent over. A guy goes down a snowy track and lands hard on the opposite side of a pond's (or hole's) bank. Dressed as an old man, and with a young woman playing his granddaughter, Johnny makes out with her in public, including groping her clothed butt. Two guys enter a ram's pen, hoping to soothe the "beast" with music (both carry musical instruments). The ram, however, repeatedly butts the first man quite hard until he scrambles out. It then does the same to the second man, hitting him once before he gets out. Johnny and two other guys are in a racquetball or handball court wearing metal trashcans as helmets. Johnny then hits a golf ball and it ricochets quite hard into his neck. The guys tie a string around a man's tooth as he's seated outside and then the other end to the back of a Lamborghini. That car then speeds away and it yanks out the guy's tooth (seen again in slow motion), with bloody results. Real snakes (including large ones) are then thrown and poured in there with him, causing him to freak out (he is not bitten). We see a fully nude guy (with a superimposed black box floating over his crotch area, but purposefully not always in the right place) swing his penis to hit a small ball (or similar object) thrown his way. It makes contact and the ball flies away, all seen in slow motion. During the end credits, a photo shows a person giving "the finger" and Wee Man is seen doing the same. JUMP SCENES We see another explosion of blue liquid involving a porta potty (this time from inside it). MUSIC (SCARY/TENSE) None. MUSIC (INAPPROPRIATE) A song, "Boom Boom Pow," includes at least 1 "s" word. One guy sits a bit of a distance from the output of a jet engine. After being buffeted by the air flow, it eventually knocks him over. Various people then throw various items (footballs, what looks like potatoes, shoes, etc.) up in front of the air blasting out of the engine, sending those things zipping off into the distance, with some of them hitting some of the people standing in direct line with the jet. Others are simply blown down by the wind. Johnny dances around in a muddy buffalo pen on roller skates and is then run over by a buffalo (played back in slow motion). In a staged bit, another little person attacks Wee Man in a bar, joined by others with punching, kicking and such. Various guys try to make their way through a narrow hallway filled with tires on the floor, wood cross beams in the way, and tasers (or the like, noted as being 950,000 volts each) hanging from the ceiling, while some electric cattle prods rotate around. The guys end up being repeatedly shocked as they crash their way through the wood beams to get to the other side. Preston, in just his underwear, stands in front of a field goal kicker and has a football kicked hard into his face (played back in slow motion). Bam has superglue liberally poured onto his hands that he then places onto the bare (and hairy) chests of his dad and Preston. After waiting for it to dry, he then yanks his hands away (causing them pain), resulting in their chest hair being stuck to his palms. Superglue is poured liberally onto Preston's bare belly (he's in his underwear) and Wee Man then gets onto him (also in his underwear) in the "69" position. After waiting for it to dry, they're pulled apart, causing them pain (and glue or skin is then yanked from Wee Man's side, causing additional pain). Dressed like an old man, Johnny drives a scooter out of the showroom through a plate glass window and then crashes into a parked scooter. A man's face is situated upside down and mostly obscured (save for his mouth and surrounding area) to make that look like a cartoon type character holding miniature swords. Others then place scorpions there (as the "monsters" the figure must battle), but the man doesn't realize that until one scorpion pinches him with its claw and then stabs its stinger into his face. A large balls slams into one guy. Dressed as Santa and a elf, Johnny and another man climb a tall tree that's then cut down with a chainsaw. It falls a long way and both men land hard in the deep snow. We see one guy in a jock strap (bare butt cheeks) as he tries to (literally) pin a tail on a donkey while blindfolded. When he gets close, the donkey kicks him, first in the leg and then later the crotch, causing him pain and prompting him to lament his "ding-ding." There's another scene where Bam throws water against a person's face and then punches them with a boxing glove on the opposite side (in slow motion). Wee Man hits the helmet Johnny is holding in front of his crotch, thus causing Johnny pain. We then see football related footage where a pro player tackles Johnny quite hard (as the quarterback) and then runs into him just as hard when Johnny tries to catch a pass. As part of a gag, Johnny runs and jumps onto a miniature telephone pole or the like, with a large dog jumping and biting into clothed butt, hanging off the ground from that point. We later see Johnny's bare butt cheeks and the slightly bloody bite marks there. One guy is completely nude with a remote-controlled toy helicopter tied to his penis (it's called the "helic*ckter"). It then flies around a bit and then zips off and crashes, thus yanking his penis hard (prompting him to state, "So much for my love life"). He then runs off and we see his full rear nudity. A large ball is blasted into a guy. A guy tries to jump a creek via a ramp on a mini-bike, but he crashes hard on the opposite bank (played back in slow motion). The guys have Preston down on all fours, nude, in a pig pen, where a pig is going to eat an apple from his butt. It tries but ends up biting him there. One guy hits Wee Man in the crotch. The guys do a stunt where two jump from a platform down onto a huge inflatable object that then sends a man situated on that to fly way up into the air. Johnny and others then fire pellet guns (or the like) at that man in midair. We then see playback that shows that of the first two men, one landed on the other and both partially hit the ground -- seen in slow motion). We then see a new version of the same stunt. A guy goes down a snowy track and lands hard on the opposite of a pond (or hole's) bank. Two guys enter a ram's pen, hoping to soothe the "beast" with music (both carry musical instruments). The ram, however, repeatedly butts the first man quite hard until he scrambles out. It then does the same to the second man, hitting him once before he gets out. Johnny and two other guys are in a racquetball or handball court wearing metal trashcans as helmets. Johnny then hits a golf ball and it ricochets quite hard into his neck. The guys tie a string around a man's tooth as he's seated outside and then the other end to the back of a Lamborghini. That car then speeds away and it yanks out the guy's tooth (seen again in slow motion), with bloody results. We see point of view footage from a "penis cam" as one of the guys goes around and urinates on various people as a surprise. He does this to Preston who then punches him in the penis. A guy dressed in a gorilla suit breaks all sorts of things in a hotel room and hits his "trainer," all to terrorize Bam's parents. Johnny is painted to match the background wall in a bull pen, but the bull doesn't fall for that. After a few passes, it then hits and flips Johnny, with it kicking his head and then him landing on his head during the fall. During the finale, various explosions go off in a room in which Johnny and the rest of the guys are located. Things blow up and hit the men who are also knocked around by the force. A wall of water then comes through one wall and hits and washes the guys around. During the end credits, there are quick views of many character being hit (including to the crotch), while others are zapped with an electric cattle prod (or similar).
