OUR WORD TO PARENTS:
The following is a brief summary of the content found in this PG-rated documentary. What appears to be a silent F word is mouthed at one point, while a few benign religious and colorful phrases are also uttered.

There are some bad crashes and wipeouts during practice and competition, but no blood is spilled. Even so, some of those moments and the extreme stunts in general might be unsettling and/or suspenseful to some viewers. Some/all of those stunts might also be enticing for kids to try to imitate. Champagne is briefly sprayed from a bottle in celebration.

If you're still concerned about the film and its appropriateness for yourself or anyone else in your home who may be interested in seeing it, we suggest that you take a closer look at our detailed listings for more specific information regarding the film's content.

For those prone to visually induced motion sickness, there are varying amounts of handheld camera footage in the film, while a few shots are shown from the top of very tall ramps looking down, and that might create a vertigo effect for some viewers (especially when viewed on the big screen in 3D) .

  • Phrases: "Yeah, you nailed it," "Dude," "That sucks," "Gnarly," "With age get a cage," "Nut" (crazy person), "Perma grin," "More to say than a teenage girl with rollover minutes," "Hello, adrenaline," "It sucks," "How do you like 'dem apples?" "I've got chicken skin" and "I'm freaking out."

  • We see playback from last year of Jake completing the first part of a skateboard stunt, but then falling 50 feet down to the surface below him, hard enough to knock his shoes off.
  • Danny completes the first part of a dangerous skateboard stunt. When he comes back down the second time, however, he clips the edge of the ramp hard, flipping him over and he lands hard on the ramp. We hear that he broke an ankle and probably more, but he comes back and does more jumps. One also goes wrong and he crashes, and the worst part is banging his helmet-covered head back hard onto the platform. He's dazed from that, but then gets up again.
