QUICK TAKE:
Comedy: People try to survive a disaster as parodies of popular movies and celebrities play out.
PLOT:
Will (MATT LANTER) has bigger issues than being commitment phobic when it comes to his girlfriend, Amy (VANESSA MINNILLO), for he's been having nightmares featuring a saber-tooth version of Amy Winehouse (NICOLE PARKER) who warns him that the end of the world is coming.

He thinks that's prophetic when meteorites start raining from the sky while attending a party thrown by his friend Calvin (GARY JOHNSON) and his girlfriend Lisa (KIM KARDASHIAN) that's attended by others, including a snarky pregnant teen, Juney (CRISTA FLANAGAN).

With Amy having previously broken up with him, Will sets out to rescue her, all while he and a handful of others, including a fairy tale Enchanted Princess (NICOLE PARKER) and her Prince (TAD HILGENBRINK) who've shown up from a manhole in the street, must deal with all sorts of disasters in this parody spoof of popular movies and celebrities.

WILL KIDS WANT TO SEE IT?
If they're into the current crop of spoof movies and/or are fans of anyone in the cast, they just might.
WHY THE MPAA RATED IT: PG-13
For crude and sexual content throughout, language, drug references and comic violence.
CAST AS ROLE MODELS:
With nothing meant to be taken seriously on any level, little resembling reality, and the characters coming off as nothing more than thinly drawn sketch creations, it's unlikely any kids would view any of them as role models of any kind. Nevertheless, most parents probably wouldn't appreciate the way most of them behave.

HOW OTHERS RATED THIS MOVIE

(Note: The "Our Take" review of this title examines the film's artistic merits and does not take into account any of the possibly objectionable material listed below).

OUR WORD TO PARENTS:
Here's a brief summary of the content found in this comedy that's been rated PG-13. Profanity consists of several partially heard "f" words, while other expletives and colorful phrases are uttered. Sexually related dialogue and lyrics are present, as is the sight of various scantly clad women and a male underwear model, and nude men whose crotch areas are barely covered (we see bare butts). Comedy-based sexual activity is implied, and other sexually related humor is present, including that related to a very pregnant teen.

Comedy-based violence includes people being killed by various means, while slapstick style material is also present, including people striking others with various objects. Some of that has bloody results, and it's possible some of that and some visuals (including that of severed limbs and a head) might be unsettling to the youngest of kids, even if it's played for comedy.

All sorts of crude, gross-out and scatological humor is present, while characters have bad attitudes, and some viewers might not like some of the material used as attempts to be funny. Various characters drink and there are various comments about drug use, while there's brief smoking related material, and all sorts of behavior might be enticing for some kids to imitate.

If you're still concerned about the film and its appropriateness for yourself or anyone else in your home who may be interested in seeing it, we suggest that you take a closer look at our detailed listings for more specific information regarding the film's content.

For those prone to visually induced motion sickness, there's shaky camera movement whenever the meteorites hit.
