  • Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris and Kevin Spacey shine in this powerful story set in the world of real estate. Time are tough at Premiere Properties. Shelley "The Machine" Levene (Lemmon) and Dave Moss (Harris) are veteran salesmen, but only Ricky Roma (Pacino) is on a hot streak.

The new Glengarry sales leads could turn everything around, but the front office is holding them back until there "losers" prove themselves. Then someone decides to take matters into his own hands, stealing the Glengarry leads and leaving everyone wondering who did it. (Studio Copy)

Based on playwright David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, this 1992 film features a dream cast that delivers terrific and engrossing performances (Pacino earned an Oscar nomination for his effort). Although the film never really transcends its stage play origins and the dialogue is pure Mamet (which some people love and others find stilted when it occurs in films), there's no denying this is an absorbing and dynamic piece of work.

The film is rated R for "language" (and contains a lot of it).

(Studio Copy)

Released back in 1994 at the height of star Tim Allen's career (he had the number one TV show and book at the same time), this funny and heartwarming film perfectly matched the comedic actor's personality and timing.

Rather than simply following up on the one-note, high concept premise (an everyday man must assume the role of Santa after inadvertently bumping him off), the filmmakers expanded upon it, resulting in a fun and amusing take on the Santa story that both kids and adults will equally enjoy it.

STAR TREK III - THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK

  • Terraforming and the Prime Directive - 25+ minute segment about the sci-fi concept.
  • Archives (Storyboards and Photos).
  • Theatrical trailer for this film and "Star Trek: Nemesis."
  • Admiral Kirk's defeat of Khan and the creation of the Genesis planet are empty victories. Spock is dead and McCoy is inexplicably being driven insane. Then a surprise visit from Sarek, Spock's father, provides a startling revelation: McCoy is harboring Spock's living essence. With one friend alive and one not, but both in pain, Kirk attempts to help his friends by stealing the U.S.S. Enterprise and defying Starfleet's Genesis planet quarantine. But the Klingons have also learned of Genesis and race to meet Kirk in a deadly rendezvous. (Studio Copy)

Following the rebound success of 1982's "Wrath of Khan" (after the expensive, relative failure of the original "Star Trek: The Motion Picture"), the Star Trek team was primed for a follow-up. Rather than coming up with a completely different storyline, however, writer/producer Harvey Bennett and director Leonard Nimoy decide to pick up where "Khan" left off (after all, they needed a way to bring Spock back and their plot worked well for that and in connecting to the previous story.

The result - released in 1984 -- wasn't and still isn't as much adventurous action fun as "Khan," but diehard fans of the films and original TV series enjoyed it, even if the casting of Christopher Lloyd (the "Back to the Future" films) didn't exactly have the desired result (and certainly paled in comparison to Ricardo Montalban's over the top performance in the previous film).
